Refund & Returns Policy
Last updated 12 August 2026
Use the KAIRO Motion Kit for a month; if it isn't for you, email us and send it back for a full refund, used or unused.
1. Our promise, in one line
You have 30 days from the day your kit is delivered to send it back for a full refund — used or unused, with no restocking fee.
That is the whole policy. Everything below just explains how it works in practice: how the clock is counted, how to get a label, how long the money takes to reach you, and the small number of situations where a return isn't possible. Nothing further down takes anything away from the line above.
This policy is offered by Launchi LLC, trading as KAIRO, and applies to orders placed on vitalmanafter50.com. It sits alongside our Terms & Conditions and does not affect the statutory rights you have where you live.
2. The 30-day trial, explained
The 30 days start on the delivery date — the day the carrier hands the parcel over — not the day you ordered and not the day we dispatched. If your kit sat in a depot for a week, that week is not your problem.
We want you to actually use it. Anchor it in a door frame, work through the printed routine, take it away for a weekend, throw it in a suitcase and train in a hotel room. Thirty days is long enough to find out whether resistance training fits into your week, which is the only question that matters. A kit that has been used for four weeks is exactly as returnable as one still sealed in its case.
What has to happen inside the 30 days is your email to us, not the parcel's arrival back at our warehouse. If you write to us on day 29 and the kit reaches us three weeks later, your refund still stands. We work from carrier tracking to confirm the delivery date; if tracking is vague or the parcel was left with a neighbour, we take your word for when it actually reached you.
The KAIRO Motion Kit is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription, no trial that converts into a paid plan, and no recurring charge — so there is nothing to cancel at the end of the 30 days. If you keep the kit, you simply keep it.
3. What qualifies for a return
Everything in the box, in any condition, for any reason. We have deliberately not written condition rules, because condition rules are how return policies quietly become unusable.
- Used or unused. Stretched bands, scuffed aluminium handles, a dog-eared routine guide — all fine.
- Case or no case. If the zip carry case has gone missing, send the rest. We won't deduct for it.
- Any packaging. The original box is not required. Any box or padded mailer that will survive the trip is fine.
- Any reason, or none. Too easy, too hard, not enough time, changed your mind, bought it for someone who didn't want it. You don't have to explain, and we won't ask you to.
- Incomplete kits. If a band or an ankle strap has gone astray, send back what you have. We'd rather have 11 of the 12 pieces back than argue about the twelfth.
There is no inspection step, no photographs required and no "resaleable condition" clause. A returned kit does not go back on the shelf as new, so its condition genuinely makes no difference to us.
One specific case worth naming: the bands contain natural latex. If you discover a latex sensitivity after opening the kit, stop using it and email us. That is a normal return and it is covered in full.
4. How to start a return
There is no returns portal, no form and no RMA number to generate. You email a person.
- Email support@vitalmanafter50.com with your order number. You'll find it at the top of your order confirmation email. Can't find it? The email address or the name and ZIP or postal code you used at checkout is enough for us to find the order. Tell us in one line whether you want a refund or a replacement.
- We reply, usually the same working day. A person reads it and answers — no ticket queue and no bot. If you write in the evening, at a weekend or on a US public holiday, you'll hear from us on the next working day.
- US customers get a prepaid return label. It arrives as a PDF attached to our reply, along with a QR code you can show at the drop-off counter if you'd rather not print anything. The return costs you nothing.
- International customers get written instructions. Those include the return address, the value to declare and the wording to put on the customs form. Outside the US you arrange and pay for the carriage yourself unless the item is faulty or wrong — see section 11.
- Pack it. Bands and straps can go inside the zip carry case, and the case into any sturdy box or mailer. Don't worry about presentation. Please do include a scrap of paper with your order number inside the parcel — it speeds up matching your return to your order at our end.
- Ship it. Hand it in at the carrier counter or drop-off point named in our email and keep the receipt. It carries the tracking number, which is your proof the parcel is on its way.
- We confirm on arrival. When the parcel is scanned in at our warehouse, we email you to say it landed, and the refund follows within three working days.
Please don't post anything back before emailing us. Unannounced parcels still get refunded, but they take far longer to match to an order, and returns sent to our registered office in Delaware rather than the warehouse address in our reply can add weeks to the process.
5. Refund timing and method
We issue your refund within 3 working days of the kit arriving back with us, and usually the same day it is scanned in. The refund goes to the original payment method — the card you paid with, or the PayPal account, or the wallet you used at checkout. We cannot redirect it to a different card, a bank transfer or store credit, because the refund travels back down the same path the payment came in on.
If the original card has since expired or been replaced, that is normally fine: your bank routes the refund to the replacement card on the same account. If the account has been closed altogether and the refund is rejected, the money comes back to us and we'll email you to arrange another way to return it.
One honest note about the last step. Once we issue a refund, our part is finished and you'll have our confirmation email as evidence — but the money still has to travel through your bank or card issuer before it shows on your statement. That leg is out of our hands and typically adds a few more days.
| Stage | Typical timing |
|---|---|
| Request acknowledged | Usually the same working day you email; the next working day if you write at a weekend or on a US public holiday. |
| Label issued | Attached to that same reply for US orders. International customers get written return instructions instead. |
| In transit | 2–6 working days within the US, depending on how far the parcel travels. International returns vary widely with the carrier and customs. |
| Refund issued | Within 3 working days of the kit arriving back — usually the same day it is scanned in. |
| Appears on your statement | A further 2–10 calendar days. This one is set by your bank or card issuer, not by us. |
In practice, a US return from first email to money on the statement usually takes somewhere between one and two weeks. If ten working days have passed since our refund confirmation and you still can't see it, email us and we'll send you the transaction reference to quote to your bank.
6. What we refund
We refund the full purchase price you actually paid for the kit or kits you send back, including any sales tax charged on them. If you used a discount code, the refund reflects what you paid, not the list price.
There is no restocking fee, no handling fee and no deduction for wear. Standard shipping is free on every order with no minimum, so on a standard order there is no shipping cost sitting in your total to deduct in the first place — you get everything back.
Two things are treated differently, and only because the service has already been performed:
- US Expedited shipping ($9.95) and International shipping (from $14.95) are refundable in full if you cancel before we dispatch. Once the parcel has left Columbus, that upgrade has been used and is not refunded, even though the kit itself is.
- Duties and import charges collected at checkout are paid straight through to the destination country's customs authority, so they are not ours to hand back. They may be reclaimable directly from that authority — see section 11.
Return carriage itself is free for US customers, because we send the prepaid label. International customers pay their own return carriage unless the item is faulty, wrong or damaged.
7. Exchanges, replacements and lost parcels
If something arrived wrong, incomplete or broken, you should not have to run a return at all. Email us, tell us what happened, and we ship a replacement.
- Wrong item. If we sent the wrong thing, we send the right one and cover the carriage both ways.
- Missing piece. Kits contain 12 pieces: 5 resistance bands (10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 lb), 2 milled 6061 aluminium handles, 1 padded door anchor, 2 ankle straps, 1 printed routine guide and 1 zip carry case. If one is missing, tell us which and we post that single piece — no need to send the rest back and no need to wait for a whole new kit.
- Damaged in transit. We replace it and you do not need to return the damaged item. A photo helps us press the carrier, but it isn't a condition of the replacement. Please dispose of a damaged band rather than using it.
- Lost in transit. If tracking stalls or the parcel is confirmed lost, we send a new kit. We do not make you wait on a carrier investigation before replacing it — chasing the carrier is our job, not yours.
- Changed your mind about the bundle size. We can't swap a 1-Kit order for a 3-Kit order after payment, but you can return the order under this policy and place a new one. Email us first and we'll make sure the timing works out.
Because the kit is sold as a single specification with no sizes or colours, most "exchanges" are really replacements. When we send a replacement, your 30-day return window restarts on the day the replacement is delivered. You do not lose the days spent waiting.
8. Faulty items and the 2-year warranty
These are two separate things, and it's worth being clear about which one you're using.
The 30-day return
No reason needed. Runs for 30 days from delivery. The outcome is your money back on the original payment method.
The 2-year warranty
For a fault or defect. Runs for 2 years from delivery and covers all components. The outcome is a replacement part or kit rather than an automatic refund.
Every component is covered: the bands, the aluminium handles, the door anchor, the ankle straps, the case and the guide. If something fails in normal use inside two years — a handle grip works loose, a stitch on the door anchor gives way, a band snaps or splits — email us with your order number and a photo if you can take one, and we replace the affected part free of charge. In most warranty cases we don't ask you to ship the faulty piece back; if we do need it for a manufacturing check, we pay the carriage.
What the warranty doesn't cover is wear that isn't a defect. Natural latex is a consumable material: bands lose a little snap over years of heavy use, and surface marks or chalky residue are normal ageing rather than a failure. Cuts from being dragged over a rough door edge, or damage from anchoring to something that isn't a door, sit outside it too. If you're unsure which side of the line yours falls on, send a photo and let us judge — we'd rather be generous than argumentative.
Replacement bands are sold individually, so you can top up a single weight rather than buying a whole kit when a band eventually wears out years from now. Email us for the current price and availability of the weight you need.
If a fault appears in the first 30 days, you can use whichever route you prefer: a replacement under warranty, or a full refund under this policy.
9. Cancelling an order before it ships
Every KAIRO order is a one-time purchase with no subscription and no recurring billing attached to it, so there is never a standing charge to cancel. "Cancelling" here means one thing only: stopping a single order before it leaves the warehouse.
We dispatch quickly, which is good news right up until you change your mind. Orders placed before 2pm ET on a working day leave the same working day; everything else goes within 24 hours. That makes the cancellation window short and sometimes only an hour or two long.
To cancel, email support@vitalmanafter50.com as soon as you can with your order number and the word Cancel in the subject line, so it gets picked up quickly. If the order hasn't been packed we stop it and refund you in full — usually the same working day and always within three working days.
If it has already gone, we can't recall it, but nothing is lost. You have two options: refuse the parcel at the door and let the carrier return it to us, or accept it and start a normal return under section 4. For US orders both routes cost you nothing, because we cover the return carriage either way.
10. The few things we can't take back
This list is short on purpose, and we don't intend to grow it:
- Returns first requested after the 30 days have run out. If a component has actually failed, the 2-year warranty in section 8 still applies — so write to us anyway rather than assuming you're out of options.
- Kits not bought from us. We can only refund orders placed on vitalmanafter50.com. If you bought from a marketplace listing or a third-party seller, your refund has to come from them. We'll still help with warranty questions and sell you replacement bands.
- Deliberate damage, or stock bought to resell. Kits that have been cut up or destroyed on purpose, and commercial-quantity orders bought for resale, aren't covered by the consumer return above.
That's the entire list. Being used, opened, unpacked, incomplete, out of its case or thoroughly trained-with does not appear on it, and never will.
11. International returns
The 30-day window, the "used or unused" rule and the no-restocking-fee promise are identical everywhere in the world. The one difference is who pays to get the parcel back to Ohio.
Outside the United States, you arrange and pay for the return carriage — we do not issue prepaid international labels. We send you the return address, the value to declare and the exact wording for the customs form. Please use a tracked service and keep the receipt: the tracking number is what protects you if the parcel goes astray, and we'll chase it with you if it does.
Mark the parcel clearly as returned goods using the wording we give you. It matters — a return declared as a commercial shipment can attract US import charges on the way back in, which delays your refund while it is sorted out.
If the item is faulty, wrong or damaged in transit, none of that applies to you. We cover the cost of putting it right: for damage we simply ship a replacement and you keep or dispose of the damaged one, so there is no return to pay for at all.
On duties and import taxes: we calculate them at checkout and pass them on to the destination country, so you are never billed on your doorstep — but that also means they are not ours to refund. Many customs authorities allow you to reclaim import duty on goods you have returned and been refunded for. The process and the deadline are set by your national customs authority, not by us. Ask us and we will send your original checkout receipt and a written confirmation of the refund to support your claim.
12. Refunds on multi-kit bundles
Our bundle prices are volume prices: 1 Kit $49.95, 2 Kits $89.95, 3 Kits $119.95. The more kits in one order, the less each one costs. That has a consequence worth spelling out before you order, rather than discovering it at refund time.
If you return every kit in a bundle, you get every cent back — $119.95 on a 3-Kit order, no deductions.
If you return part of a bundle, the kits you keep are re-priced at the rate that actually applies to that quantity, and we refund the difference. You keep fewer kits, so you lose the discount that came with the larger quantity.
Worked example — returning one kit from a 3-Kit bundle
- You paid the 3-Kit price: $119.95
- You send one kit back and keep two
- Two kits are re-priced at the 2-Kit rate: $89.95
- Refund: $119.95 − $89.95 = $30.00
The same arithmetic on a 2-Kit order: you paid $89.95, you keep one kit at the 1-Kit rate of $49.95, so the refund is $89.95 − $49.95 = $40.00.
We know $30.00 is less than a third of $119.95, and we'd rather you saw that on this page than in a refund confirmation. It isn't a penalty and it isn't a restocking fee — it's simply the price of two kits, which is what you've ended up with. If returning the whole bundle and reordering a single kit works out better for you, say so in your email and we'll do it that way instead. Sales tax is recalculated on the same basis.
13. Chargebacks and card disputes
Please email us before you contact your bank. Almost every dispute we see is a misunderstanding we could have fixed the same working day, and a formal chargeback is the slowest route to your money — banks routinely take 30 to 90 days to work one through, where our refund takes three working days once the kit is back.
If you don't recognise a charge, check the descriptor first. Payments from this store appear on your statement as KAIRO, not as Launchi LLC and not as vitalmanafter50.com. A charge from a family member using a shared card is the usual explanation.
If you have already filed a dispute, tell us. We will respond to your bank with the order, dispatch and delivery records — and we'll be straightforward about it, because if you're owed a refund we'd rather simply pay it. We cannot refund the same order twice, so where a bank has already reversed a payment we close the matching return request instead of issuing a second refund. Nothing here prevents you from disputing a genuinely unauthorised transaction, and you should do that immediately if a payment wasn't yours.
How we handle your order and payment records is set out in our Privacy Policy, and the wider terms of sale are in our Terms & Conditions.
14. How to contact us
Everything on this page starts with one email address. A person reads it and replies, usually the same working day.
- Email: support@vitalmanafter50.com
- Trading name: KAIRO
- Legal entity: Launchi LLC
- Registered address: 16162 Coastal Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958, United States
- Website: vitalmanafter50.com
To get a decision in one reply, include your order number, roughly when the kit was delivered, and whether you'd like a refund or a replacement. A photo helps for damage or a fault, but is never required.
The address above is our registered office — it is a legal address, not a warehouse, and returns sent there will be delayed. Always email us first and use the return address we send you. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
